The Bird, by John Light
As part of our PDL curriculum, Year 4 read The Flower.
As we had enjoyed it so much, we decided to email the author, John Light.
John Light responded very kindly and replied to our email, sending us two unpublished stories, including a sequel to the Flower called The Bird. We have sent a copy of the story home for your child to illustrate over Easter - John Light has said he would love to see what children come up with! As well as a paper copy, there is also a version of Seesaw if you would prefer digital illustrations.
