The school day

The school gates open at 8.35 a.m. and school begins promptly at 8.50 a.m.

The hours pupils must be in school are;

8.50 am – 3.20pm  which is 32.5 hours.

The morning session typically involve Phonics, Reading, English and Maths with separate breaks for each Key Stage.

Lunchtime is staggered between 11:45am and 1:30pm.  Each year group has an hour for lunchtime. 

All Key Stage 1 children are offered Universal Infant Free School Meals or are welcome to bring a healthy packed lunch.

Key Stage 2 children can also order a hot school dinner from the same menu or bring a healthy packed lunch from home.

Afternoon sessions will include Art, History, Geography, Science, ICT, Music, RE, PE etc. More information about the learning for each term can be found on the year group pages.

The school day finishes at 3:15pm for infants and 3.20 p.m. for juniors.
