Football Match V Crescent
Sat 06 Jan 2024Massive well done to the year 5/6 girls football teams. 2 matches were played tonight, 1 league game and 1 friendly game. The league team won their game and go top of the table with the +3 points from tonight! Both teams played amazingly well in their games. Some of the teamwork on show was extraordinary, especially with the smiles on faces it created! Well done team Cherbourg! 🤩 Shoutout to Ruby and Darcey scoring their first ever goals!!! 🔥

Hampshire Cup Journey Ends For The Boys
Sat 06 Jan 2024Our Hampshire Cup journey for the boys comes to and end, with a fantastic and resilient performance. The boys went 2-0 down early on but managed to come back 2-2 in the second half. Unfortunately we then lost 3-2 in extra time. The boys played with teamwork, effort and a sense of pride throughout the game and did Cherbourg proud with their performance! Great effort boys! Miss H is very proud! 🤩

Basketball Champions!!!
Sat 06 Jan 2024CHAMPIONS 🏆!!! Massive well done to our year 5/6 basketball team, who played in the Eastleigh and Winchester tournament this evening! They played with ultimate resilience and teamwork throughout! Absolutely outstanding the way they conducted themselves this evening! They won the whole tournament and will now represent Eastleigh and Winchester at the County Finals! Well done team Cherbourg! ⭐️

Sat 06 Jan 2024Massive congratulations to our Girls Football team who have qualified for the Hampshire Cup quarter finals tonight with a win over Blackfield Primary. On a difficult muddy, boggy pitch the girls played with grit and determination to finish the game with a win. What a way to finish 2023! Go team Cherbourg! 🤩⭐️

After the Christmas break it was great seeing them back playing, showing their teamwork skills! By the time the second half came, they were starting to play like they had never stopped! Hampshire Cup Match
Thu 02 Nov 2023What a game of football our Hampshire Cup team played against Castle Primary. With torrential rain and a chilly October afternoon, the team played their socks off! After going behind twice in the match, they managed to equalise in the last kick of the game, taking us to penalties. Unfortunately we lost the penalty shootout, but it is never about the result in any of the fixtures/events we participate in. The team showed resilience, team work and never gave up throughout the match. The best team ethic and match we have experienced as a team! Well done team Cherbourg!
Shoutout to player of the match Alfie, who was extraordinary in goal this afternoon!
