• Hampshire Cup Win!

  Congratulations to the year 5/6 girls football team, who took part in our first ever Hampshire Cup Match. The girls played Weeke Primary in this cup match, and played brilliantly throughout. The girls secured the win and now progress through to the next round! Well done team Cherbourg! :)

  

• Cherbourg Vs Otterbourne

  Well done to both the Girls and Boys football team, who played their league fixture against Otterborne Primary. Both teams played with great teamwork and determination throughout the games. Both the boys and girls football team won their matches, given them 3 points to add to the league table! Shoutout to Tarleigh who scored 7 goals for the girls and 1 goal + 1 assist for the boys! Well done Team Cherbourg! :)

  

• Year 3/4 Aquasplash Team Secure 2nd Place!

  Congratulations to our year 3/4 aquasplash team who took part in our first ever Aquasplash event! All children participated with outstanding team work and respect throughout the event. The children swam so brilliantly and secured 2nd place! What an outstanding achievement! Well done to all involved! Go team Cherbourg! :)

  

• Sports Leaders

  Well done to our 4 year 5 sports leaders, who did a training event about becoming the best sports leaders they can be. They completed the training and learned some new skills that they can use in and around the school. Look forward to seeing these new skills during sports!

• Year 3/4 Girls Football Tournament

  Congratulations to the year 3/4 girls football team, who played in their first ever football tournament at Sherborne House. The girls showed great team work and enthusiasm throughout the event, and for their first ever games they were awesome! 

  Well done to Kiera and Natasha who were presented the Happiness and Enjoyment award by the Sherborne House Staff. 

  

• Year 5/6 B/C team tournament

  Congratulations to the year 5/6 B/C teams that took part in the SGO football tournament at Kings School. The children played brilliantly throughout the tournament, with Cherbourg finishing in 1st and 3rd place. Amazing achievement for all involed! Well done team Cherbourg! :)

  

• Football team start with a bang!

  Well done to the year 5/6 school football team who play Owselbury in their first league match of the season. The team played amazingly well with team work on show throughout. 

   Team Cherbourg played with 6 players in the second half to ensure an more even match between the two schools!

• Year 3/4 Multi-Sport Event

  Well done to the year 3/4 Multi-Sport team, who took part in our first event of the year at Kings School.

  The children participated in lots of different activities including; Archery, Hockey and squash!

  All children were absolutely fantastic and really showed off their skills!

• School Football Teams

  Well done to the year 5/6 Boys and Girls football teams. They played Crescent Primary and both narrowly lost 2-1. Both games were played brilliantly by our teams showing so much resilience and passion when on the pitch! Well done team Cherbourg!

  

• School Basketball Finals

  Well done to the Basketball Team who represented Eastleigh and Winchester at the School Games Finals at Solent Sports Complex. The team competed brilliantly throughout the tournament and became Champions of the Plate!!!
