Class Photos

Halletts’ Photography will be in after half term on Monday 5th June to take class group photos.

We have had another complaint from one of our neighbours concerning parking and blocking their driveway when dropping off and collecting your child from school. Please can we remind those of you who drive your cars to school to be considerate as to where you are parking and do not leave your car unattended across any obvious driveway.

HC3S School Picnic Lunch

From Monday 8th May, Pauline and her staff in the kitchen will once again be offering Summer Picnic Bags as an alternative to a hot Red or Green school dinner. This option is only available to year groups 3, 4, 5 and 6. The menu runs on a weekly basis and not a 3 week rota as the Red and Green options do. The cost is the same as a hot dinner at £2.15 per meal.

SATs week

Next week is SATs week for our Year 6 pupils. Lots of early nights please and good luck to you all. Staff and pupils have worked really hard in preparation and we know they will do their best during the tests. It is really important for all Y6s to be on time and breakfast is provided for them to make sure they are able to concentrate.

This week’s work is from Cara Leigh Monckton in Y6, who has written an excellent and amusing letter to Justin Bieber to help him better understand the use of the subjunctive clause!

Feedback from Parents’ Evenings

Following on from Parents Evening at the end of last term, parents expressed an interest in receiving newsletters by email. If you would be interested in receiving newsletters by email please sign the slip below and hand it in to the office. If we have a big enough response then we will consider subscribing to the email option with teachers2parents who we use for texts.

This is a copy of the letter that was sent to parents. The original had a reply slip that is not included in this online version. If you would like a copy with the original reply slip please contact the office.
