25th May 2017 – Forest School Childcare Opportunity

This letter was not sent to the entire school so it may not be relevant for your child

25th May 2017

Dear Parents/Carers

Mr Crossley and Miss Francis will be starting a Cherbourg Forest School After-School Club after half term for a few children. The club will be held at Stoke Park Wood in Bishopstoke on Mondays from 3.15pm – 6.00pm for 6 weeks starting on the 12th June and the last one will be on the 17th July.

The children will be taken by mini-bus driven by Mr Mullett, this will be at a cost of £8 per week including 50p for transport back in the minibus if you are unable to collect your child from the woods yourself. If you choose to collect your child you will have to be at the Stoke Park Road Car Park before 6pm.

Forest School aims to connect children to nature and provide opportunities for learning through play. For children, nature is the greatest playground of all, with all of its diverse structures, smells and textures etc.

There are a limited number of places available, so if you would be interested in this alternative childcare option then please complete the slip below and enclose a payment of £51 (including transport).

Yours sincerely

Andrew Crossley

PE and Outdoor Learning Coordinator
